History of the Kenwood Demo Studio The Kenwood demo studio was room in John Lennon's house "Kenwood" where he wrote songs, recorded demos, experimented, and listened to music. And while it's perhaps not hugely significant from a released music standpoint, it was where John (and Paul) wrote many songs that would ultimately become Beatles classics.
